For those who don't know, they turn up at disasters and provide freshly cooked food, for free, for those who had to evacuate and anyone else who's around.

Quiet day at work, good. Gives me time to stare blankly at the wall and gently melt. Today isn't AS repulsive out there, but the house is still holding a lot of heat from yesterday.

I know the weather people on the news have big smiles about the "Summer weather arriving and uh oh fires might happen" but for those of us in dried out bushland, it's not very smiley.
