I have replaced my fineliner pens. I didn't think, of all the things, I would have to hide my pens but there we have that.

Reminder for those putting water our for the wildlife, pop a stick in the bowl/tray/container so that insects can access the water and get out again.

I've wet down the shrubs for the insects and little birds. I'll do it again tomorrow, a few times. Make some cool damp spaces for water and cooling.

Brother and SIL just left. Lots of whispered conversations about the house, where things are kept and probably me being useless. They're back tomorrow apparently. Exciting times. Also I forgot to have lunch, which answers the "why am I so hungry?" question.

Got Bella a cow hoof while I was getting her dog food and she's delighted. She just came in to show it to me, do a big happy wiggle and then trotted back outside.
