Still working on podping for Castamatic: often a new episode appears with no podping coming, particularly with shows hosted on Redcircle and with NoAgenda. @John Spurlock Is it possible that your websocket service misses some notifications or is the error at the source?

@Dave Maybe using <atom:link rel=self> inside the feed to express the canonical url might solve the issue of disambiguating multiple urls per feed? If a client is subscribed to a non-canonical url, it will never get podpings for that show.

Does spam exist on Podping? Example: I’m testing for Castamatic, and I’ve been receiving podpings all day for feeds.redcircle.com/87f6766d-e6e5-43c5-93d2-045a488941ad without any new episodes being released. This would complicate my plans a lot.
