A Democrat
An entrepreneur
An investor
We are ALL made in the image and likeness of God.
We are ALL created by the same creator.
These are all identities that limit your ability to see the fullness of the truth.
As God said to Moses, "I AM who I AM."
You are who you are.
I am who I am.
Our identities divide us when we are truly all one.
Each identity is like putting a box over your head, but the entire room is the truth.
While what you see in the box might be true as it is a part of the room, it fundamamentally limits you to see the fullness of it.
"First seek to understand and then to be understood."
Your identity box limits your ability to understand others perspective of the same thing.
Imagine this...
Go back to the beginning.
God appears to 6 men revealing his fullness to them.
They would then go back to their tribes sharing the experience in their different languages with different words all of which are limited in expressing the fullness of God.
They would all share the same truth in different ways.
Each tribe would develop its own religion.
As generations go by, when a member of one tribe interacts with a member of another, they would express this God given truth.
While feeling the same, their expressions would differ from the other.
If attached to the identity of which they have been taught, this would create a divide, which could lead to a conflict, a war.
You can conduct the same experiment today.
In private, have six people explain to you what is love...
They'd all explain the same thing in different ways.
God is Love.
Both are so grand that words cannot fully explain.
Yet we have all felt it, we all know it.
Drop your identities which divide you and focus on that truth to find unity with all.
