Today @HaikuCrush announces on formerly the bird site that one of my haiku has been included in 'The Best Haiku 2023. International Anthology' by www.haikucrush.com. Proud is a bit of an understatement. So for this once, a link to this social handle.

I have been quiet over the weekend. The reason? I was at the most lovely haiku festival in Belgium, the Festival van het Maankonijn (moon rabbit), where I was one of the ten nominees. No top3, but for me the prize was being there and seeing my five haiku as tanzuka in the hawthorn hedge.
Translation:
clouds are animals
learning to look again
with children's eyes
