#FindsFriday: The oldest preserved #candles north of the Alps. They were made from beeswax around 1,400 years ago. Found in the early medieval burial site in Oberflacht. The damp environment preserved the candles in good condition. On display at Landesmuseum Württemberg #archaeology image
