While I was in #wellingborough this afternoon I happened across a pro-Palestinian protest meeting in the town square. For such a small town there were a surprising number of people there. I wonder if this is somehow a marker of how the government (etc) really aren't reading public opinion correctly. #Northamptonshire #ukpolitics

We're just back from an allotment session. Sacha has planted all her flower bulbs in the newly repurposed bed. I've taken a chance with some garlic cloves. The plot next to mine has had some of the mass of brambles cut back (which is a bit odd because I think the plot holder might be in prison). This tidying up inspired me to deal with my apple tree that had been growing into that mat and onto my shed roof. I cut off some huge unruly branches which are now going to be a challenge to dispose of. We came back with some sprouting broccoli and some Brussel sprouts. Good bonfire. #allotment
