Well, the forms are off, excavating away and already dropped over halfway. Tomorrow reassemble form and pour next ring on top. #permaculture #homesteading #Offgrid #gardening

1st ring of many poured and tomorrow the excavation begins and pull forms drop ring and reinstall forms, repeat possibly 30-40 times to get the depth needed. The rungs of ladder are set so form has slots that allows us to pull it off and block again for new ring. It's a high tech, hand dug well. #permaculture #homesteading #Offgrid #gardening

Well, the inner form is in and all reinforcements and support is in. In about an hour they'll pour the first ring of the well casing. Amazing how much reinforcement is needed in these rings. Also incredible amount of form support do we have a perfectly round ring. #permaculture #homesteading #Offgrid #gardening

Last nights sunset with plenty of clouds. Finally this morning we got about 30 minutes of rain. It helps but sure would like a full day of rain. Need to get another 30 agave planted this week and get to digging the well out. Have an awesome day🤙 #permaculture #homesteading #Offgrid #gardening

Busy week getting the well project set up. Still need the inner form which comes in Monday and crane then can start digging it all out. They've got reinforcements for concrete rings made up with many more to go. You can see they'll be steps all the way down. #permaculture #homesteading #Offgrid #gardening
