Is there another company who delivers the same (or comparable) quality in regards to FOSS-ideals, moral economical behaviour and of course their printers as Prusa? 🤔 I don't really know enough about companies like Creality or Elegoo to tell. #3DPrinting

THIS. I gonna save this to just post it every time one of those entitled FOSS-bros crosses my path. If the only way for people to use a computer is to either become a developer yourself or suffer through exploitation by big corporations it isn't an individual failure of those people, it's an absolute failure of the FOSS / Linux community to build good software.

There's something soothing about watching old machines (very relative here, it's an 8 years old 3D printer) still doing the job they were build to do trustfully. Not a perfect print, evidently (the PLA isn't exactly dry and, well, it's still a Bowden). But more than usable for any functional part. #3DPrinting #hardware

Me 2 months later after rewriting half of the file handler logic, dealing with half-baked or non-existing docs currently implementing a thread management class because the program never needed to even be able to stop a child process before I came around (still not knowing if the PR will even be accepted): #Python #Lutris #programming #coding

lolwhat, #OnePlus already stopped supporting my phone THREE years ago? Oo The absurdity in this is just… wtf. Snapdragon 855, 1440p 90hz AMOLED and whatnot… but the last security update is from 2022 with Android 12? That's just 3 years of life they deemed it to be worth… I hate modern technology companies. 😑 Quickly flashing the custom OS back onto it.
