The tail end of a busy day.
We ate a comfort food meatloaf and mashed potatoes dinner. I will need some extra hydration and energy tomorrow morning to give blood.
A friend of a friend is in the hospital and has used most of the local supply of my blood type. They gave her two gallons yesterday. I don't know her personally but I did know her mother. We live in a small community in a small world. I checked with the blood bank as soon as I got the text for help but they already had enough donors for tonight. I am scheduled for ten in the morning.
If any of our Mastodon friends in Humboldt see this toot the local blood bank is in need of both O+ and O-.
Allowing myself some relaxation embroidery time. Summer is snoozing curled up next to me.
Sometimes it's helpful to live in the moment and chill. Now is one of those moments.
