It's funny how when DID was in the early, goofy/silly episodes they had this very dignified serious intro and then when they get into the SHIT IS SERIOUS NOW part of the series they switch to a goofy fun slapstick intro
So uh, this is embarrassing, but last week I linked "Shadow of Doubt" from the score to Vision of Escaflowne and credited it to Yoko Kanno. This is incorrect, Vision of Escaflowne was co-scored by Kanno and Hajime Mizoguchi (a cellist, and Kanno's husband at the time this was recorded) and Shadow of Doubt is a Mizoguchi track. In my defense it's a bit hard to find clear English-language documentation of this stuff, but I should have been able to figure this out. Sorry!
I've got a proposal for how Amazon could improve their service: Instead of this heavy focus on delivering every package in under 24 hours even if this means they have to force their warehouse workers and delivery drivers to pee in bottles, Amazon goes back to delivering things on a 48-to-72-hour timeframe, but as a tradeoff they actually deliver the package instead of fucking lying and saying they did
I really just⦠hate Unity incredibly. It's just so deeply unpleasant as a program. I am currently blocked on two separate platforms, and I am blocked in two different places, but in both cases the thing I am blocked on is "what is the fucking error". Unity is too good to tell me what the error is; when it does tell me the error is hidden in a sub-box somewhere. I have a separate project that works, but all important settings are hidden in sub-boxes of sub-boxes so I don't know what's different
