2026: the year the Japanese #FountainPen dies. Seriously, what the fuck is up with these price increases. $500 for a pro gear?!?!

Coworker, reaching for my vanishing point #FountainPen : "can I borrow your pen for a second?" Me: noooooooooooooo Coworker, shocked: wow, you don't need to be so possessive Me, grabbing a pilot varsity: you can use this, not my vanishing point. Coworker, looking at the nib strangely: uhhhh, I'll just use someone else's pen *Sigh* I really hate my coworker sometimes. I thought everyone in my department knew I used fountain pens. I'm not subtle about it.

So apparently now Ferris Wheel Press is now shipping glass bottle inks with little to no packing material for protection. Can that company be any more of a joke? #FountainPen

just refilled my Pilot Metro with a 50% dilution of Noodler's xFeather (bought before I knew the brand's reputation). Hopefully this is nicer to work with. Undiluted it takes FOREVER to dry. #fountainPen

Question for the #FountainPen hive mind. I love the Diplomat Magnum. I love how bouncy the nib is. I love how lightweight it is. I love the snap cap function, tactility, and sound. My only complaint is the diameter. I find pretty much all number 5 nib pens to be too narrow for me and give me hand cramps. Is there a pen that is basically the Diplomat Magnum but widened enough to be a #6 nib? (Yes the extra 1 or 2 mm do matter)

What a weekend. Lots of walking around trying to get a shiny Bewear in #pokemonGo (no shiny bewear was gotten :( ) and some juicy juicy drama over in /r/fountainpens.

Please tell me other people care about light pollution, that it isn't just me? With the aurorae this week, i've lamented several times in person about how bad my city's light pollution is. you can't see the milky way. you can barely see any stars. Nobody cares. It's either "eCoNoMy" or "jUsT MoVe FuRtHeR aWay". Apparently I'm the only one that thinks you can have economic productivity while protecting nature and no one sees lit skies as a form of pollution that harms all of us :'(

Home from the #pelikanhub . What a wonderful weekend! Chicago was amazing! Atlas was amazing! Chicago Pelikan hub was amazing! My cats being mad at me for leaving them, not so amazing. They'll get over it though. They know how important my #FountainPens are.
