I've started using the con b squeeze concrete in my pilot metro. I'm not sure if I'm really losing much ink volume with it over reusing cartridges; I've seen a range of values from different websites. Anywho, not being able to see through the ink sac is very much helping me to stop worrying about ink levels and just write. Not that I ever have worried per se, but I love seeing ink slush around. #FountainPen

welp, the peanuts x esterbrook pens are an ugly bust so my no-buy can continue unhindered. Though that sailor tea-time is annoyingly tempting. #FountainPens

I've noticed that both of my TWSBI Vac700Rs have developed cracks in their caps. The cracks are towards the top so they aren't interfering with the cap seal or threads, but I know the cracks will spread. Guess I should reach out to TWSBI to get new caps at some point. :/ I've been thinking about getting a Pilot C823 (not sure If i'd want the amber or clear version), but idk. The TWSBIs write so well and work so well with the Vac20 ink well to very easily get a full fill. #FountainPen

Question for the #FountainPen hive mind. I registered for a pelikan hub this year. I've since learned (after registrations ended) that there's one being hosted MUCH closer to home. Do I need to do anything to communicate that I'm wanting to go to this other hub meetup or can I just show up and say hi.
