The last day's events in #Iran serve as a warning to all regimes globally that think they can shut down movements by shooting protesters. About a day ago, protesters were machinegunned by cops or military in several cities in Iran. Videos showed piles of bodies. It is very hard to get news out of Iran right now due to an Internet shutdown, but things like sattelite and cross-border camera card smuggling must be in use. Videos are still reaching Telegram. None of those mass murders by Iran's cops yesterday stopped anything. Videos came out from the following afternoon and night showing escalated not stopped action, though more battles than protests. In one incident Kurdish fighters engaged an IRGC headquarters with both small arms fire and molotov cocktails. Remember the latter is an effective form of incendiary artillery. In another incident a police station was stormed and burned to the ground, like the 3ed Precinct in Minneapolis back in 2020. Remember in Iran you can be executed or have body parts chopped off after certain arrests. Thus fighters there have a strong incentive to fight to the bitter end. Note that protesters firing small arms and using molotov vs the regime using machine guns is only ONE notch more violent than the current situation in the US.
Tampa FL protest for Minneapolis vows to make the US ungovernable, make killer "as famous as Derek Chauvin" On the 8th of January, protesters showed up at Tampa City Hall for the second day in a row to throw down for Renee Nicole Good and for #Minneapolis Furious speakers swore to "make the US ungovernable by the hand of Trump" and to make killer ICE agent Jonathan Ross "as famous as Derek Chauvin." Two more people were shot and wounded by Trump's Gestapo this same evening, this time in Portland. Minneapolis schools are out for the week due to the "security situation" and a memorial to Renee has been created in an area barricaded off in Minneapolis for the purpose. Everywhere the talk is of 2020
