SCOTUS & MAGA abolished affirmative action because universities cannot use race when determining admissions but allowed legacy admissions because it massively benefits white students but abolished DEI because of the lie of meritocracy but allowed profiling Latinos for ICE raids. One word: FASCISM.
Today on a shadow docket the Supreme Court ruled 6-3 that Trump's ICE fascists can use ethnicity as a ‘relevant factor’ when furnishing reasonable suspicion to detain people, specifically citing Latino ethnicity. No mention of the ~600K mostly white Canadian & European undocumented immigrants. This is what fascism looks like.
Today I was supposed to interview Wissam Hamada, the honorable mother of Hind Rajab. But we were unable to make it happen because she had to flee an attempt by the Israeli military on her life. Killing her daughter with 355 bullets wasn’t enough, they are still pursuing her. And now that "The Voice of Hind Rajab" by Tunisian director Kaouther Ben Hania is going live, the threats on her life will increase. Do not be silent on this genocide. Raise your voice. Just got done protesting ICE fascists at the Broadview location at 1930 Beach St. The fascists were so frightened that they changed the timings of when they traffick people so that they wouldn’t have to face us.
