One of the most disgusting things about the Islamophobic attacks from republicans on Democratic nominee for NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani is that corporate Democrats are making virtually the same racist attacks against him. The Democratic Party should be embarrassed that they’re using MAGA talking points to attack their own nominee. Pathetic and cowardly. They sure are earning their 26% approval rating.
Why isn’t media asking Democrats accusing Zohran Mamdani of antisemitism if they think top elected officials who are Jewish, like Brad Lander and Jerry Nadler, are also antisemitic? Both have endorsed Mamdani, praised his work to combat antisemitism, & recognized his work to humanize Jewish people—yet their voices seem to not matter?🤔 The politicians lying about Mamdani are in fact erasing these leading Jewish voices. That’s sounds like antisemitism to me.
