Usually when I write about Israel/Palestine I get emails from people objecting or claiming I "ignored context." ZERO emails about my article documenting Israeli military using Palestinians as human shields. Even Netanyahu's staunchest supporters find it indefensible—yet USA still funds it. To be sure, these are war crimes. Why are we allowing our tax dollars to fund these war crimes?

This is not a ruling from 2024, it's a ruling from 2005. Israel (Still) uses Palestinian human shields because they never stopped. It's past time the US Govt and the international community stopped funding these war crimes. Enough.

The latest reports confirm that the Israeli military is systemically: •raping Palestinian prisoners •using Palestinians as human shields •bombing Palestinians in designated safe zones These Are War Crimes. And all this while Netanyahu rejects his own proposed ceasefire and hostage release proposal after Hamas accepted it. And rather than hold Netanyahu accountable, the US Govt is responding by sending $23B MORE in military aid. How can anyone defend this?? Where is the humanity??

It's bad enough to shame people for voting based on the primary issue of stopping genocide, but it's even worse to claim they're a "one issue voter." The money being spent on bombing Gaza could be spent on paying our teachers, funding our healthcare, fixing our roads, or making college affordable. But instead its being used to kill innocent children. Stopping genocide isn't one issue. It's literally every issue.
