I spoke with Franklin Graham, President of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan's Purse. I thanked him for his support of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people, humanitarian aid, and the important guidance. I told him about our successful first step towards a just and lasting peace—the meeting between the delegations of Ukraine and the United States in Jeddah. Our state seeks peace more than anyone, which is why Ukraine accepts the United States' proposal for an unconditional 30-day full interim ceasefire. This is a good step to save people. The release of military prisoners of war and civilians in captivity, and the return of children could also be one of these steps. But now Russia is looking for various excuses to avoid ending the war. Pressure and unity from partners can change that. We value Franklin Graham's voice and rely on his support.
