BitKit is doing a very interesting (and good!) job with their mobile Lightning wallet (node-in-a-phone style). One fun component is customizable widgets, which (I just learned) includes a news tool that plugs into Nostr! Or at least into Stacker News (which is at least nostr-connected, though I don’t believe it’s nostr-native). Here’s the post:

Yo @ODELL on yesterday’s @RABBIT HOLE RECAP , you mention @Mike Dilger ☑️'s nostr client, Gossip. I’ve been using it for a little while now and agree - it is a fucking outstanding client. You described Gossip as an “incredibly hardcore, freedom-first nostr client that you can run on desktop”, which bears similarities to Sparrow Wallet. The UI-UX is indeed quite similar to Sparrow, and it’s a pleasure to use. I’m wondering (in the interest of taking full advantage of this client), what are the “hardcore, freedom-first” aspects that you’re referring to?

@Damus feature request: Follow a note/conversation and receive notifications for replies regardless of whether or not you were tagged or if the replies are on your own reply. Example: someone asks a good question, I don’t know the answer. I repost. I quote with #asknostr hashtag. I never see if there’s an answer unless I bookmark and then go check it a week later.
