I first learned about Bitcoin from a Max Keiser appearance on the Alex Jones show in 2013. I immediately bought a small amount on Mt. Gox. In order to purchase it, I had to deposit cash and wire money to them via a shady ass atm inside a 711 in LA. I didn’t trust them holding my coin, so I withdrew to a Bitcoin QT wallet, that I wasnt even sure was set up correctly. But it worked out and I never had my bitcoin rugged by them. Unfortunately, I lost those sats in a hot air balloon accident.
Bitcoin has come a long way and still has a long way to go.
