As seems to regularly catch me out, I forget just how much shit shuts down in the UK sometimes... I had assumed things like Wickes, Screwfix, and Halfords would be ooen today. But nope. No mower oil for me then! I am pretty sure I have made the same mistake in previous years. Bunnings is bloody open today, bit of a trek just for mower oil though, plus it closes in 15 minutes.

Down the plot in the sun, and wind, having a bit of a 2025 binfire. A bit too breezy to use the open firepit alas. Whilst 2025 wasn't too much of a binfire for me personally, it has been a long and continuing road to recovery from the utter dumpsterfire that was 2024. It has if course been a hell of a binfire for our world and people, with sadly no sign of improvement to come. Can but do the things we do to try and survive for now I guess. #allotment

That's the question of "dinner?" solved! A pair of £3.51 pizzas. Not a bad little orange sticker haul, also got 4 packs of firm tofu, some toast bread, muffins (breakfast tomorrow sorted).
