"Italian Night" brings us pizzas to make an Italian pizzaiolo cry ... but probably not in a good way. 😂 We used to make pizzas on plain old white wheat tortillas like this a lot. Back in my carb dodging days (which probably need to return). Has been a long time since we last did this. The key "secret" to making these work is the combo of a hot oven (250°C) and carefully sliding the tortilla-pizzas onto the open wire rack so the bottoms dry & harden a bit. No tray. (A good idea to put a big tray at the bottom of the oven to catch any lemming cheese.) #Allotment Green Zebra Margherita.

Then for my next tricks, burger patties and chillies over charcoal... and get a rub on the beef ribs that are going in the smoker in the morning. Make good use of that charcoal by doing some eggplant for babaganoush tomorrow. ... and... sit down. Urgh.

I think this is the first time I've ever simultaneously used all 4 "burners" on the shitty electric stove ... I originally intended to have 2 things on the stove today:<li>Quince &amp; Zucchini "Glutney"</li><li>Pickled Jalapeños</li> But the huge pile of quince has been taking up a tonne of room in our little kitchen for too long. And I cracked right on to start them on their journey to jelly. Only problem I filled our biggest pot, and still had quince. So I got our smallest "stockpot" on too... the big pot is just plain quince (5.3kg of chopped quince), for the smaller one I've added two Naga Morich super-hot chillies and some spices to try a different sorta take on "quince jelly" (nearly 2.5kg of chopped quince). The chutney contains from our own #allotment growing: 595g green & yellow zucchini, 597g vranja quince, 1016g jersey giant tomato, 165g trinidad perfume chilli. Plus 992g bramley apple "scrumped" community orchard windfall. And the rest of the H-FW "glutney" ingredients.

Brexit Britain: all of the disadvantages of being in the EU, with none of the advantages? 😂 A bit of a cheap quip TBH, of course GDPR does still exist here. And isn't really a disadvantage. It's mainly amusing that the UK isn't important enough to bother with considering it separate from the EU, so is effectively omitted, inconsequential.

Looks like myprotein.com have a fairly hefty sale on. I used to buy loads from these guys. But it has been over a decade, I don't know if they're still good, even still the same company per se. A lot changes in a decade. One thing that has changed is flavours, as I recall there was a choice of: plain, chocolate, strawberry, and banana... maybe a choc mint? Now: Matcha Latte? And over a dozen other flavours. Ridiculous.
