Better do something with this 1.9kg #allotment berry harvest (and the freezer is still full of last year's berries.) This is mostly raspberries, some blackcurrants.
Cooking them up with a kilo of sugar.
Not got a specific plan of what to do with them next. Might seive, then put through muslin, then refridgerate. Cordial, jelly, something else? (We are not big users of sweet stuff, last year I did raspberry sauce, we open one occasionally, use maybe half on rare ice cream, and then the other half grows mould in the fridge. Need smaller jars maybe (or a lot more sugar?)
