1.) Tim Walz, born in 1964, is a member of the Democratic Party and was the selected nominee to be Kamala Harris' Vice President.
2.) He is the 41st Governor of Minnesota, having assumed office in January of 2019.
3.) Walz received a teaching degree from Chadron State College, later spending over a year in China, where he worked with WorldTeach as an educator.
4.) He later agreed in 1999 to be the faculty advisor for the first gay-straight alliance at Mankato West High School.
5.) Walz volunteered and worked on John Kerry's 2004 campaign and later worked as a coordinator of Vets for Kerry.
6.) Tim Walz was an advocate of George Floyd and spent a lot of time undermining the Police, siding instead with the protestors.
