You can tear something down far faster than you can ever build or create it.
As I begin taking the Christmas decorations down, it reminds me how slow & intentional the process is to put everything up, compared to how quickly it all goes back into boxes for another year.
It’s the same with life. How easy it could be to destroy your career, your reputation, your relationships, your health, your wealth… everything you’ve worked years to build, with just one careless decision, one bad moment, one lapse in judgment.
Building takes patience & discipline. Destroying takes almost nothing.
That’s always worth remembering.
