My best friends & siblings all hate Bitcoin. These are successful people by most standards…probably in the top 3–5% of income earners. And it’s not that they’re indifferent to Bitcoin; they genuinely dislike it. Some even get angry when I bring it up. Respectfully, I think I understand why. They’re comfortable. They don’t want their position or worldview disrupted. They don’t want to be dethroned, so they dismiss Bitcoin and talk about it from a place of ignorance. So I’ve just stopped bringing it up. Unless, of course, they mention it first… or I’ve had a few drinks.

The cyanometer, invented in 1789 by a Swiss physicist & mountaineer, was designed to scientifically measure the intensity of the sky’s blue color. The instrument consisted of a circular chart with 52 shades of Prussian blue and was used on expeditions to record & compare sky tones… including the darkest blue ever documented over the Andes.
