A new day. A new chance to succeed.
I could tell when I woke that it had snowed, even without looking. Snow brings a silence to the house. The predawn hours seem muffled by the blanket outside.
Peaceful, really.
Maybe it's just my ears. It's not a lot of snow. More than a dusting but not enough to shovel. At least not yet. It's still snowing and predicted to last through noon.
I'll need to venture out, but later. Once the world wakes up.
