I dunno what a Vecknards is, but he looks like a Power Rangers movie villain. Or Mr. Frederick Kruger wearing wrap made of sausages on a cold night in hell.
(Disclaimer: I stopped watching after the season with the Russians under the mall.)
Ernie Anderson was such an incredible voice over legend. A voice build from 100% raw gravitas. His network TV voice-overs in the 1980s were a large part of the appeal of ABC for me. And he knew his worth and, according to him, ABC handsomely compensated for that sound. (Can you imagine the guy who replaced him? Jesus, what big shoes to fill.)
Been listening to interviews with him and he seemed like a really amazing, charming, fowl-mouthed guy in civilian life. :)
Here's his final interview in 1996, apparently. He passed in early 1997.

We all know 2026 is gonna suck worse than 2025, but let's at least cling to the hope for a few minutes.
Big thanks to the people putting up with my nonsense all year. Love ya, sincerely. 🍻

I unconditionally love both Lower Decks and Prodigy, but I feel expectations are going to be very different depending on which one a viewer started with.
Prodigy seems like the more appropriate entrance show to reach for in this instance, not Lower Decks...
I can't even imagine the kind of person who enjoyed Lower Decks without already being a fan of #StarTrek. :D I mean, you'd be awesome, but a totally freak and that's amazing.

It's a well-known gem, but it bears repeating: Computer Chronicles was such an incredible gift. A total time capsule, documenting such a formative era.

Fun tip: the mods and overall community over on /r/pluribustv are ridiculous, boring weirdos taking stuff way too seriously.
Hit up /r/okbuddypluribus for a much better time.
