I wish I was into sports, if only to have a way to connect with folks a bit more. I understand the appeal, but I just can't get with it, you know? :(
I do enjoy some sports-adjacent activities, however. Mini-golf. Badminton. Dodge ball. Volleyball. I can toss a basketball around a bit. Swinging a baseball bat. ...Taco Bell?
Amazon apparently thinks "Black Friday" means "a week of mediocre discounts that would have happened anyway".
I think a lot of retailers are like that now. Many of them realized they can just slap "Black Friday" on something in late November and BOOM: instant meaningless hype.
