Even though he prepared us for this, it's still a huge loss. Thought we'd have a bit more time... but isn't that always the way?
When I was a kid, Geoff (and Dr. Mel Goldstein!) were my favorite TV personalities.
For the uninitiated, Geoff Fox was (among other things) a legendary meteorologist here in #CT on our local ABC affiliate, #WTNH from 1984 through 2011. He was a charming, funny guy, who's enthusiasm for weather and science in general was infectious.
After we all got on social media, he reached out to me a couple times regarding computer related topics. Wish I could have met him in person, though.
Godspeed, Geoff. May the skies forever be clear and in the mid-to-upper 70s. 😊🍻
