Predator: Killer of Killers -- AWESOME. No energy to go into a full breakdown review, but suffice it to say it's easily on par with the quality of Prey and Badlands. Gorgeous animation, too. Reminds me a lot of Arcane, in multiple ways. 4.5/5 #predator

If you squint one can almost make out the face of "Bob" in the dust next to the rotisserie chicken. It's very abstract, but I'm dead certain about this #subgenius image

Boims expression here is magical. #LowerDecks will never truly die as long as they keep making comics. One of the big advantages of a 2D animated series. ;) https://trekmovie.com/2025/11/11/see-rutherford-deny-his-new-project-is-a-sexbot-in-preview-of-star-trek-lower-decks-13/ #startrek #sexbot image
Just found out one of my favorite high school teachers died about a year ago. I always misspell Jim Pisacano's last name, so I went to go look it up and found... an obituary. Goddamn it. He was one of the MCST ("Micro Computer Software Technology") teachers at the technical high school I went to in the early 1990s. Big man, big booming voice. Smart, fun, "one of us" but still demanded and easily earned respect from everyone in his orbit. I had a particularly rough time in high school, but he took me aside and really helped me work through things. He went above and beyond. He is very model of the kind of person who SHOULD be in charge: intelligent, friendly but no nonsense, honorable, and above all, compassionate. Godspeed, man. https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/nhregister/name/james-pisacano-obituary?id=56802960 #vinaltech #ct image
This isn't the first time I've heard the #SouthPark guys say stuff like this. No real public opinions of their own. Just a lot of shallow, spineless centrist bile, parasitically co-opting whatever controversial topic floats to the top of the zeitgeist pool long enough to cram into their break-neck production schedule. Social commentary delivered with all the flimsy cardboard convictions of drunk college frat boys trying to get into fist fights with elderly strangers at a bus stop. I mean, yeah, it's funny stuff. I'm not going to deny it. But it just takes the wind out of your sails knowing the satire is more contrarily motivated, rather than intent on delivering actual biting criticism. Maybe I expected too much.
