What do you think about an AI (artificial intelligence) judicial system? I’ll give an argument for it and against it.
Pro AI judicial system:
People have bias, people are not perfect and people can bend the rules. Many people have been incarcerated for crimes that they didn’t commit and many people have avoided doing time due to their social status and connection with people in power.
Anti AI judicial system:
Artificial Intelligence can not feel the compassion that humans feel. While it may be better at “playing by the book” it may overlook the uniqueness of different situations. AI may lack the empathy that people have, leading to an incorrect judgement.
What’s your take? In my opinion artificial intelligence will definitely play a role in the judicial system, to what extent we will see.
