this is another cool approach to an independent bsky app experience, which uses only a generic network service (constellation) instead of a bsky-specific appview RE: View quoted note →
looking in to some PDS instances / posts not coming through
@hailey is wrong
would be great if a [riseup.net]( ) style org ran an atproto PDS with relatively open signup. gives a lot of additional privacy protections to end users.
just that period reminder that content posted to Bluesky is public to *anybody*. if you don't want to see it used in a court of law, don't post it here. and DMs here are not E2EE, they can be subpoened. a great use for bsky DMs is to share secure comms and move the conversation there.
can't remember if I shared it before, but [plonk.li]( ) is an atproto pastebin service, nifty [plonk.li/p/0X]( ) [astrolabe.at/at/nekomimi....]( )
a bunch of atproto stuff I always hoped to see (or build myself!) is getting built out, which is really cool. other stuff i'd love to see explored (won't have time myself for the forseeble): reusable group/role/community primitives
got some juicy OAuth improvements cooking! and auth scopes starting to come along
RIP [@cryptome-org.bsky.social]( )
does anybody do atproto dev directly from their mobile phone? tablet doesn't count. this was a big "future of coding" prediction years back, curious if it happened
