But if we allowed every Indian to move to Canada. Canada would become India very quickly. This is not even mentioning how high levels of immigration strain social systems, cause the cost of living to go up, housing prices to go up, and so on. Because of the basic rule of economics that when more people chase fewer goods. Those goods and services become more scarce and the prices go up. In conclusion what is the limit? Is 500,000 a year too high? Many would say so. More and more are saying we need a moratorium for at least five years. To properly balance out our system.
