A guy hurt his neck surfing today. Me and a couple guys helped him to shore and did our best stabilize his neck. And waited for a medic to come. He seemed to be doing better and they took him to the nearest harbor to get him to a boat and to a hospital. Bad feeling not knowing what to do / feeling useless. Going to take a cpr class when I get home. Seems like a good way to make the world around you a safer place.
