Someone backed up in my vehicle causing damage. I am heartbroken. 😢 I use my SUV for my photo tours, that's how I make a living. No other source of income, no other vehicle. Dealt with insurance this afternoon. Now trying to find a rental until my SUV is fixed. Monday is a civic holiday. Next tour is on Wednesday. I am both angry and very sad. Please send cat pics.

A small flock of western sandpipers (Calidris mauri) were foraging for small crustaceans, seeds, and insects at low tide. They were moving quickly. I was determined to get photos at eye level without disturbing their search. Knowing in which direction they were going, I moved there and laid down.
