If there's another reason why I don't want Monero to transition from Proof of Work to Proof of Stake, it's because it will affect competition with Zano which is also PoS. XMR should remain the top PoW crypto and not try to take Zano's place. I don't mind XMR going to PoW derivatives like dPoW. Here's how I see things being: I'm thinking that Monero and Zano should be the top two privacycoins everyone should focus on for now; alongside coins like Freedom Dollar, Firo, PirateChain, PIVX, Grin, Decred, and Beldex. The only non-privacycoin I'm imagining will continue to have widespread use will of course be Bitcoin as the store of value and will be concealed using privacy tools, whether they be whirlpool, Confidential Layer, etc. At this point, I don't really care about everything else. Any other coins are more like distractions than anything, especially the meme coins.
