Today is my father’s 68th birthday. I know no greater protector than my father (tied with my mother) and not one day goes by that I take their love for granted. Even on his birthday, at 6:15am, he drove his friend to the hospital for their post surgery appointment. Family is everything to me.

Working on UK time this evening and writing up a briefing about relaxed press for events. I googled relaxed press to see if it’s mentioned in the UK and the search results are showing my relaxers and hair straighteners to press hair. The biracial woman in me is like, lol.

I can’t recall the name of the movie. But there’s a movie that has a scene in the desert, and dudes with masks are riding around super fast on semi trucks or cars or something…there’s fire and a guy playing a guitar on the front of one of those trucks. Member that movie? I feel like there’s an AI undercurrent that’s approaching the level of that scene in that movie 🙃

Disability inclusion at its finest. This interpreter is deaf, and she’s in frame, interpreting the press briefing into ASL. Typically US news stations don’t keep an interpreter in frame/this close to the podium. In this instance, it took 4 deaf Americans being murdered (and likely follow up from our nations deaf leaders) to ensure ASL is in frame. It’s challenging that that’s the reality. Hopefully this brings deeper consciousness to viewers re: the necessity of ASL.
