On Trump's genius and the Deep State. I wanted to begin this reflection by arguing that Trump is the best politician the US has had in the last 50 years, understanding what a politician is (I hope I don't have to explain what a politician is, but obviously that's not a good thing for people). But, being honest with myself, Trump is just a playboy who can't control his sexual desires, and watching him speak, he is far from being an intellectual or a strategist, so really the credit goes to the Deep State, both the visible (Marco Rubio, Netanyahu, etc.) and the invisible. That said, we all thought the US empire was lost, but I think they have proven to be simply brilliant and have made a bold move. Here are my observations/conclusions: - One of the masterstrokes has been to take advantage of Bitcoin's popularity to promote stablecoins and create a financing system through them, while also increasing the demand for dollars. Tether is their flagship. They literally scammed the Bitcoiners who voted for them, but it has been a great political strategy. - The other move has been to take over the largest oil reserves on the planet. This completely changes the game, reinforces the petrodollar, and allows them to be independent from the Gulf countries. The US is now the lord of oil. I could mention many other things, but in general, what I want to highlight is that they have tremendously strengthened the petrodollar and their form of financing by exporting their inflation to the rest of the world and, in turn, containing Bitcoin. I sincerely believe that in economic terms, Americans will fare better, but the rest of the world will fare much worse. There are 350 million Americans, but there are 8 billion of us. Statism always wins; we are minuscule.

Maduro is a danger to Venezuela, but Trump is a danger to the rest of the world, except for Americans.

Isn't Nostr fantastic? Just as Bitcoiners look on in disbelief at the lives of Fiat people, observing their degradation and the hardships they have to endure for adopting the fake money standard, something similar is happening on Nostr. From the Nostr valley, we see how on other platforms, including X, people are censored and lose their accounts for expressing opinions that differ from those of the NPC hordes. Here in Nostr, some of us are Bitcoiners, others are Moneroers, some are spammers, others are knots, others are Trumpers, there are even communists too, and none of us lose our accounts, nor are we censored, nor can our messages be deleted as happens in Bitcoin Core's Git. You also realize the stupidity of people who don't want to have financial peace of mind thanks to Bitcoin, because the same thing happens with Nostr. Many YouTubers, or people on Instagram or other media, lose their accounts and their income due to censorship. They have the solution at hand, but even when you explain it to them, they refuse it. Bitcoin and Nostr may not make the world a better place, but they do solve many current problems. However, we will also have to learn to live with the human stupidity that comes with not accepting solutions.
