In less than two weeks I'll be presenting the technical underpinnings of Snaps on Ubuntu Touch, mainline Linux vs libhybris devices & the challenges of achieving an All-Snap experience.
On a personal note, I'm dire need of financial support. Due to trouble in private life over the last few years I've come to the point where I cannot pay back debt right now, either for the tax office or otherwise.
It's really urgent, threatening me with deeper trouble if I don't manage to pay off my debts. So if you value my contributions to FLOSS, Ubuntu Touch, or otherwise, then please consider a donation and sharing this message:
Set up a new GitHub page showcasing my contributions.
The page is a wall, and the contributions are my spray paint. Like a tattoo'ed body telling a story.
An alpha-grade release of Mimi Browser, the WebKit-based browser for Ubuntu Touch, is now available on the Open Store!
Expected not to be on feature parity with Morph for now but it'll get there.
Just released Snapz0r 1.5.0 onto the world. New in this release:
1.5.0:
- Rebase on top of recent master, version "2.65.1+git697.g18a821c"
- Ensure all setup steps are executed properly
- Keep display on during setup
- Mount more apt files into a tmpfs, leaving more free system storage (thanks fuseteam)
