Crypto is barter. Bitcoin is money.
The reason Bitcoin is not going up is because you're being stubborn and not getting a ParmanodL Bitcoin laptop node. I'm not angry. I'm just disappointed. Especially you, @Michael Saylor
What does a #ParmAirGap ™ Laptop do for you? 1) Safe key generation - Follow Parman's Dice roll guide, or pick words with pre-loaded Ian Coleman's BIP39 tool. 2) Key testing/verification - check the seed you use on your hardware wallet is correctly generating addresses and not using a secret parallel seed to trick you. 3) Writing encrypted letters - See Parman's guide to encrypt files with gpg. 4) Key storage - the ParmAirGap drive is encrypted. Anyone who takes it apart and removes the drive can't read the drive. 5) Stateless wallet access - You can, but don't necessarily need to keep the seeds on the device if you're nervous about that; you'll just need to type in the seeds into Electrum/Sparrow each time. 6) Signing device (use the laptop camera to capture QR codes from your ParmandL transaction/node Laptop screen). Electrum/Sparrow signs, then shows a valid signed transaction QR on screen, which you capture with an internet-connected transaction computer. 7) OPTIONAL - Add an additional redundant password for drive encryption, with Parman available for recovery. NOTABLE FEATURES: The internal drive is encrypted, so even if an attacker takes apart the machine, they cannot explore the contents of the drive. Comes with a separate emergency unlock USB key, should you ever forget your password. Keep it safe and don't store it with the machine! The WiFi, Bluetooth, and WWAN (mobile) chips have been physically removed, and antenna wire connections removed. The BIOS has been configured for optimal security and tamper resistance. A hardware password is required to use the device (before the OS asks for a password). The Terminal history has been disabled. It has a webcam so you can use QR code communication. The USB ports are functional - you can take new USB drives, format them with the ParmAirGap, and encrypt and transfer data. On the machine, you'll find Linux Mint operating system, Electrum Wallet, Sparrow Wallet, Ian Coleman's BIP39 key generation tool, and the BIP39 wordlist. GPG is installed by default and it can be used to encrypt files - A guide to use gpg is included. ParmaShell - Open source shortcuts to give you a more beautiful and easy Terminal experience. Extra security in that a ParmAirGap looks like a regular laptop rather than a known Bitcoin device. A SEEDSIGNER IS GREAT - but because I get asked about the differences... 1) Writing encrypted letters - otherwise not possible on Seedsigner. Copy the letter to USB drive and hand it to a lawyer for example. 2) Key storage (but you should encrypt if you do that, eg password protected wallet files). This is not possible with SS as it is stateless; you are encouraged to put it on paper or equivalent, which doesn't get encrypted. But you can use ParmAirGap in a stateless way if you choose. 3) You can generate a wallet and addresses with an open source wallet (as Seedsigner does), but with ParmAirGap, you have two other open source wallets to compare the results. This way, you're not even trusting any open source software - it removes the paranoid need to actually read the code. 4) A Seedsigner LOOKS like a Bitcoin device, it is known. A ParmAirGap looks like a regular laptop, and so is better disguised. I list it here:
If you want to publish your own work, business, or writing online (clearnet or darkweb ie Tor), with or without accepting bitcoin/lightning for payment using a self-hosted (or hosted) payment processor, you have a wonderful opportunity to unwisely consider not engaging Parman.
