I'd love to know why so many people opposed to benefit cuts use such minimising language to describe them. Is it just the media shaping our vocabulary?. Or do people just shy away from the ugly truth?
To be very clear - benefit cuts kill.
We are talking about those with the very least in society being deprived of a lifeline. It has always come with a bodycount and it always will.
