How you can tell a human rights organization (HRW, Amnesty, ACLU, etc) is doing the right thing and has impact?
When governments and billionaires spend their time and money trying to silence us.
Help, please: can anyone recommend a solidly researched yet readable book on the history of slavery globally, from the beginning of time to the present?
The principle mistake I make is assuming people will be rational, be convinced by facts, and act accordingly.
So much evidence from experience disproves this - a point I have irrationally ignored for ages.
