One of the bigger mistakes of the education system is that all nonconformists in colonial America are grouped as one great big Puritan leviathan. Levelers, Swedenborgians, Plymouth Brethren, Episcopalians, Quakers, etc. All malcontents distinct from one another; yet their contributions, good and ill, are wrongly attributed.
