A mother from Gaza β€” of two little boys, Osama (5) and Yousef (3). I lost my home, our source of income, and the life we once knew. After surviving genocide, famine, and indiscriminate bombing, we now live in a tent, trying to start from scratch. Through this page, I try to make my voice and my children’s voices heard by the world, and I need your support to help us have a warm and dignified life. https://gofund.me/ec78a765 https://gaza-verified.org/people/nostr:npub17xlhuuu9qnx4jhrl0km57qnmsx96dsfwpyggs3698skfgwxmtczsanqq7r/ Gaza verified: https://gaza-verified.org/people/nostr:npub17xlhuuu9qnx4jhrl0km57qnmsx96dsfwpyggs3698skfgwxmtczsanqq7r/
With President Donald Trump’s announcement of the start of the second phase of the ceasefire, civilians in Gaza were supposed to breathe a little safety. Yet international reports confirm that shelling occurred on the very first day of this phase. Once again, the gap remains wide between what is declared in conferences and what people live on the ground.
Osama and Yousif are smart. Their eyes are full of curiosity, and their hearts still know how to dream. They were deprived of their kindergarten, their classroom, their little backpacks, and the sweet β€œGood morning, teacher.” But I am with them. Strong through them and for them. With a piece of paper, a simple game, a drawing on the ground… I try to help them learn and laugh. With your support, maybe one day they’ll say: β€œMama, we went to kindergarten today.” 🌱 https://gofund.me/ec78a765
RE: The world reads articles about a β€œhumanitarian crisis in Gaza.” I am living it. The tent we live in does not protect us from the rain. The cold reaches my children’s bones. The road that aid trucks use is the same road where we sink into mud. This is not breaking news for us. This is our ordinary day. We do not only need sympathy. We need to live… as human beings https://gofund.me/ec78a765 View quoted note β†’
Every time international law is tested by a real human tragedy, the difference is revealed between being a true moral principle and being a selective tool used according to interest. When the suffering of an entire people is left without accountability, the failure is not only legal, but civilizational. Justice that is applied to the weak and suspended before the powerful loses its meaning and turns from a human value into empty rhetoric. image
Hi I'm Today, I don’t want to talk much. Today, you are the ones who will speak. Ask me anything you want. I'm Sara from Gaza. I survived genocide, hunger, and the madness of random bombing I lost my home β€” and that home was everything to me: safety, memories, my children’s laughter, and all the small details of our life I created this page to carry my voice and my children’s voices to the world. Not only to tell a story of pain, but to say: We are here. We are still alive. We are still trying.
When I look at this picture, a wave of feelings hits me all at once… pain, longing, heartbreak This was my home It held warmth, safety, my children’s laughter, Now I sit in a tent, trying to explain to my children why the house won’t come back today. It’s not easy to share this pain, but harder still to live it alone I need your presence, your words, your support Maybe a sincere word can ease the weight, and maybe a helping hand can open a door to hope.πŸ€πŸ‰ https://gofund.me/ec78a765 #fensterfreitag image
Today, Osama, Yousef, and I made chocolate biscuit balls🍫 We crushed the biscuits together, laughed, got our hands messy, and they were so happy. They even made this little heart, full of love 🀍 We may not have much. Life may be hard. But our hearts are still full of love. We still know how to find joy in simple things. And despite everything, we try to create moments of warmth for each other These moments are what keep us going 🌱 Send your love to Osama and Yousef here 🀍 https://gofund.me/ec78a765
My friends and followers, Happy New Year to you all ✨ I hope you enjoyed the holidays with your families and friends, and that your moments were filled with warmth and joy. With the new year, I wish for all of us a more beautiful, calmer year, full of love and hope. I hope you continue to stay with me, because after God, your presence and support are what keep me standing strong and able to continue speaking about my children and our story. Thank you from the bottom of my heart once again 🀍 image
Have you ever tried Gaza-style vermicelli? It’s very simple, but it gives warmth and the feeling of old family gatherings. It made me feel like I was sitting in my warm home, not in a cold tent. We gathered around it, cooked it over a wood fire, and for a moment felt the warmth amidst all the cold and wind around us. Osama and Youssef were happy and helped me too ❀️ So yummy πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹ If you’ve tried it, tell me! And if not, are you ready to make it? #cooking #cook #gaza #love #chrestmas
