I went to sleep hungry, and I woke up even hungrier. I can hear my stomach twisting in pain, as if it’s crying out for help with no one to answer. I tried to silence it by drinking large amounts of water, but it was no use.
Food in the markets is running out, and what’s there is sold at unbearable prices.
Prices have made every meal nearly impossible, and every bite feels like a dream out of reach.
No food. No relief. Only a hunger that tears me apart in silence.
