this is a great documentation article, i could also understand it pretty well as a non-engineer it also showcases how our language around decentralisation and federation needs to be expanded; atproto clearly does decentralisation, just in quite a different way than the activitypub model assumes RE:

in the summer the sun gets high enough early in the morning to get above the trees so i can drink my coffee in the garden in the sun. today was the first day where the sun didnt get above the trees anymore, so i guess fall has really started. mehh
