A March 2025 Executive Order signed by Trump mandated all Federal Agencies to remove all barriers to intra- and inter-agency sharing of unclassified records. At the same time, the Administration is committing hundreds of millions of dollars to Palantir, a major intelligence contractor whose CEO Alex Karp told an investor call in February 2025: “Palantir is here to disrupt... and, when it’s necessary, to scare our enemies and, on occasion, kill them.” Palantir's data analytics product 'Foundry' is already installed within four Federal agencies including the Health and Human Services Department and the Department of Homeland Security, with talks under way with other agencies including the IRS.
