Back at granny’s. She’s a little restless. She started saying “my little Zeusy” over and over. (Zeus was her dog.) I rubbed her shoulder and tried talking but she didn’t pay me mind. So I started singing “your little Zeusy” over and over until she started singing it back, then I added “And everything’s okay” until she started singing that back and settled down. We’re a very sing-y family lol
Granny’s care center called me about 6am saying she wasn’t doing good so I threw some clothes on and headed over. She’s on oxygen and they just gave her some more morphine to help her cough. She’s woke up a few times and asked where I was and I’m so glad I could say “I’m right here honey.” My cousins coming to take a shift in an hour or so and I’ll head back home. If I didn’t have to be out of the house by the end of the month I’d stick here until I was no longer required. But I can’t.
