Last year, French authorities spent 14 billion euros ($1.5 billion) cleaning up the Seine so it could be used for Olympic competitions. Now, members of the public get to benefit. Three new swimming sites are now open: One close to Notre Dame Cathedral, another near the Eiffel Tower and a third in eastern Paris. It's the first time swimming in the Seine has been legal since 1923.
